Opportunity:
We are seeking a reliable, friendly, and punctual Ticket Collector to join our team and assist during our weekly Open House events held every Sunday. This role involves greeting guests, collecting admission tickets, and providing support with the setup and takedown of the event. This is an outdoor position that requires working in all weather conditions.
About Dog Tales Rescue & Sanctuary:
Dog Tales is a world-renowned dog rescue and horse sanctuary set on an incredible 50 acres of green fields, rolling hills, and wooded areas in King City, Ontario. Our picturesque location - complete with walking trails, therapy pools, and a grooming spa - is the perfect setting for abused and neglected animals to heal and be rehabilitated while they wait for forever homes. Along with medical care, our team provides all of the love, attention, and training that our rescue animals need to recover from their difficult pasts, so that they can move on to permanent, loving homes, which most do. For the rest, Dog Tales is home for as long as they need it to be.

The Role:
- Greet guests and collect admission tickets at the entrance
- Provide basic information about the sanctuary and event upon entry
- Assist with setting up signage, tables, and equipment prior to opening
- Help with takedown and clean-up at the end of the event
- Ensure orderly guest entry and assist with basic crowd flow as needed
- Represent Dog Tales in a professional and welcoming manner
What You Bring:
- Must be available to work every Sunday, from 11:45 AM to 4:45 PM
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Schedule:
This is a part-time, permanent position for every Sunday from 11:45am to 4:45pm.
